Job Summary The Senior Manager-Compensation plays a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive compensation programs that align with our organization's strategic objectives and ensure competitive and equitable compensation for our team members.
This position plays a critical role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent by designing and managing S&C's compensation and rewards programs.
The Senior Manager-Compensation collaborates closely with our clients and internal teams to develop insightful strategies and solutions.
Essential Daily Responsibilities / Duties:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies that align with S&C's mission, vision, and corporate objectives.
Analyze market trends, benchmarking data, and industry standards to ensure competitive compensation practices.
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of compensation programs including base salary and short-term incentives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and adjust compensation programs to reflect changes in market conditions and business needs.
Utilize data and analytics to assess compensation effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
Conduct regular compensation reviews to identify areas for improvement and address pay equity issues.
Develop and deliver reports and presentations on compensation trends and recommendations for senior leadership.
Lead and mentor a team of compensation professionals, fostering their growth and development.
Collaborate with HR teams globally to ensure consistent compensation practices and policies.
Provide education and training to HR team, managers, and employees on compensation-related matters.
Maintain open and transparent communication regarding compensation practices, policies, and changes.
Create detailed standard work documentation Support the budgeting of company-wide compensation programs Support the administration of Executive compensation programs at the direction of the Director-Global Total Rewards Support special projects as identified by HR leadership Maintain regular and punctual attendance Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required Communicate effectively and respectfully with others Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 8
years of progressive experience in compensation and compensation program management CCP Certification Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of compensation practices, legal requirements, market dynamics, and HR best practices Proficiency in data analysis and use of HR information systems Exceptional leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities Proficiency in using HR software and tools for data collection, analysis, and documentation Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Exceptional organizational and project management skills for successful management of multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively Superior attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Occasional travel required (up to 10%) Preferred

Salary:
$63 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
